The purpose of the event is to create a platform to showcase Bahamian traditions, art, music, food dance and its rich culture.  The events will take place throughout the Abaco Islands, starting with Hope Town, on Elbow Cay but eventually growing to travel throughout the settlements and Cays.  Centrally located for visitors and locals to attend.  The events will promote the rich heritage that the islands have to offer, encouraging domestic travel as well as providing opportunities for locals to showcase, sell and promote their native products.  By extension the international visitors will benefit from the added entertainment and products on offer, therefore generating a richer more robust economy. Currently, there are few and limited events that encompass the full Bahamian package of what the islands have to offer in arts and music, this event would offer a platform for this area to grow extensively.
